Week 8 Progress

Image
Looking back, I am happy with my progress so far. The only thing I'm not happy with is the assignments in the class I have missed which is all my fault because I have been lazy and focused on other things. The assignments that I enjoy the most are the feedback posts because it helps me understand the things I could be doing better. The extra credit opportunities that I have taken advantage of have been the extra reading and the check in and connect. Things have gone good developing my blog. Looking forward, the changes I want to make are being on top of my assignments and doing more extra credit to make up for my past assignments I've missed. Nothing new that I want to try in my writing other than maybe expending some of my stories and writing sequels. I do not have anything I want to change about my blog. I chose this quote because I feel as if it will get me through the rest of the year ( I'm going to make it )

Week 8 Comments and Feedback

Image
Overall, the feedback given by my fellow classmates really help me out. They let me know what I'm doing good and if they like the story. They also let me know what I need to try to be better at. I find the feedback comment that suggests things for me to do the most useful. I feel as if I am giving out good comments to my classmates. I think I could be better are reading over their story/blog multiple times so I can give more suggestions to them. I think I am getting good ideas for my own writing as I leave comments and read peoples posts.' I am happy with my intro post, I wish I would've been more detailed about it and actually show them who I am instead of just answering the questions you provided for us.  Looking forward, I think the class blog comments should go on all semester, but I don't think the introductions should be required to comment on all semester long. It is nice getting to know our classmates, but I think just the first half would be best. I think the

Week 8 Reading and Writing

Image
Overall, I feel as if I am doing really well with this class in general throughout the first half of the semester. I think my biggest problem is procrastination. This has always been a problem of mine, but since I am in 18 hours now it has become so much worse since I am focusing so much more on my upper division classes.  My reading and writing assignments are going well. One thing that I think I need to work on are my stories and the way I retell them. I sometimes get loss and trying to tell the story in 2 different perspectives instead of taking one. (i.e. 1st or 3rd person, past or present tense). I am extremely happy with my blog and my project website.  My favorite reading assignments have been the anthology stories. I choose these because I use most of those to write my stories since my portfolio is all about adventures and things to do with animals. I usually won't write stories about the readings that are assigned because of this reason. I like to go back and find new sto
