"Silence the Critical Voices in Your Head"

This was the first article I chose to read and I thought it was a good one, especially because I have dealt with this in the past of just negative thoughts that go on in my head. Whether it be for a specific reason or it is just there because. I enjoyed the 4 steps Rejeev went through to turn "negativity into productivity". The four steps is a good process and I'm sure could help a ton of people out there. The four steps of this are, 'Look for the positive', 'Hear the Positive', 'Dig in to understand the positive', and last but not least 'Believe the positive, and act as if it was true'. Although Rajeev didn't enjoy hearing the feedback, it was mainly the tone of voice and different phrases from co workers comments that stuck with him, but this 4 process rule, helps him get through it. "Make it a daily practice to shoot for a five-to-one ratio. You may not keep a precise count of how many positive and negative voices you’re allowing inside your head each day, but once you start to stockpile positive comments, you’ll notice a difference in your energy level and output."

"Why Rejection Hurts So much and What to do About it"

Everyone deals with rejection in some form a way growing up, it's just the world we live in these days and is honestly something everyone needs for it to happen to them so they understand why it hurts and what it does to a person. Like the article says, there are minor rejections and devastating rejections as well. I think they are all good for people in a sense so they understand how it feels. There are many ways to respond to criticism, and here are some of them... 'Have Zero Tolerance for Self-Criticism,' 'Revive Your Self-Worth', and 'Boost Feelings of Social Connection.' These things help your emotional stance if you think to yourself and understand what they mean. Rejection is such a crappy feeling but eventually it would pay off.
